In our lives, there is often someone who becomes a source of inspiration, a guiding light, and a role model we respect and admire unconditionally. For me, the "Teacher in My Heart" is not just a mentor in the discipline I study but a person who has dedicated their life to sharing knowledge and creating meaningful contributions to society with a rare and unwavering determination in today’s world.
The story of Professor Kriengkrai Boonthakanon, fondly known by his students as “The Grand Master,” is a testament to the power of dedication, perseverance, and the spirit of sharing profound knowledge. With over half a century of expertise in feng shui, his teachings are more than just knowledge they serve as a bridge connecting ancient wisdom, passed down through millennia, to the modern world.
Known affectionately by his students as “The Grand Master,” Professor Kriengkrai Boonthakanon has devoted over 50 years to the study and exploration of feng shui. Recognizing the immense value of this ancient knowledge, which has been passed down for thousands of years, he established the Geomancy Club in 1988 to share feng shui teachings with the public as a form of benevolence. Additionally, he founded the Hulin Foundation in Kaeng Khoi District, Saraburi Province, as a model cemetery constructed in strict adherence to proper feng shui principles, providing a resource for education and practical application.
Professor Kriengkrai was born on July 7, 1934, and is known by his Chinese name, Kiang Yiew. He is a descendant of the Ngow family, whose ancestors migrated by ship from mainland China to settle in Chonburi Province, Thailand. The eldest of 14 siblings (7 brothers and 7 sisters), he has carried forward his family’s legacy with dedication and distinction.
Currently, Professor Kriengkrai serves as the President of the Geomancy Club, which he founded in 1988 with the goal of promoting widespread understanding of feng shui. In 1993, he further established the Hulin Foundation in Kaeng Khoi, Saraburi Province. The foundation focuses on charitable activities related to traditional Chinese burial practices and serves as a model cemetery built in full compliance with academic and professional feng shui principles.
